FC Analysers
We currently deploy the VIAVI XGIG 1000 portable model, it is our preferred platform. It includes 8 ports capable of capturing at 4/8/16Gb/s FC or 10GbE, it also has licences to utilise the Analyzer, Load Tester and Jammer features. We have included most XGIG user manuals in our Knowledge Base, we can also supply one or more of these on our rental terms if you have the skills to manage them.
TAPS
We can optionally use an optical LC connector inline tap unit (e.g. Finisar, 4 port pairs, 70/30 split ratio) with the above analyser to allow scheduled disruption of the links ahead of (and after) capturing traffic.
Power Monitor
Often overlooked, input power can be a factor for the unexpected behaviour of SAN equipment. We have a Dranetz PP4300 available for single or three phase voltage monitoring and recording – just in case!
